Modders should use nexus mod manager to upload mods if they fear removal from steam.
In the games current state asking for the developers to add steam workshop support would be like asking for the moon. So i think we can all agree that there should be a unified location for users to download and install mods. In comes nexus mod manager to fill the lack of steam workshop support. Nexus mod manager is a easy to use lightweight application used to download and install mods for games which exploded in popularity with the help of the Skyrim modding community. They have for a while now supported all games and Dead or Alive 5 Last Round would fit in nicely.

Actually I agree with this, but for the starting point I think the modders are pissed with TN and just doing the nude mods out of spite, when that settles you'll start seeing the amazing stuff begin to trinkle in. Im hoping for more hairstyles, and costumes, I know they can do it its just a matter of when, eventually Im guessing this will reach the lengths of skyrim modding if it gets enough traction.

As far as I now, there's only 2 nude retextures; most are normal fare. The modders are probably more upset that the game files are encrypted, making in-depth modding difficult.
EDIT: whoops, let me remove that reddit link. Wasn't thinking

I really doubt it'll reach Skyrim levels. It's just a fighting game, really most of what we can expect are aesthetic things like costumes. Just hope it gets to USF4 levels.

I too have sensed tension between modders and team ninjas because of their "good and moral" statement. I don't think that should hinder modding though. What we need to do as a community is to find a home for DOA 5 LR modding to help it get established.

Is that the Gothic mod? I briefly seen someone mention something somewhere about a Gothic costume mod.

Yup thats the gothic one, Im amazed people are already able to go this far with individual character mods with this game.

It's a given that modders aren't going to care about arbitrary rules such as what TN stated, and I don't believe they should care. The hindrance, as one can see, is the extra time it takes to figure out the file encryption.

Personally, I like Nexus Mods. The site UI is decent enough, and I like that that it gives options on downloading mods; i.e., mod manager for people who like that route, or manually for people like me who like complete control.

I am interested to see if someone is going to do a 2K or 4K texture overhaul mod like someone did for skyrim. I have already hear people started working on ENB's.

Yes, that goes without saying; I just meant modders are upset that they have to waste time figuring this out before they can begin in-depth mods.

Nexus was only good for Bethsoft games, we need to separate third party games from nexus, because its messy and causes more issues.

But instead of suggesting people to make mods, how about you make them yourself

Accessibility isn't always a good thing.

either way, nexus is a bad idea, it'll only seperate the modding community and then eventually it will dissapate
