Any chance of sharing your settings so the rest of us can injoy it to please?
I have posted the settings here: http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3327/
Make sure that the DOA5 config has AA disabled too or you'll run into a lot of pains at 4K.
Thanks, but will this work without 4k?
Thanks for making this adjustment, for 4K users. :)
If you don't have 4K, try using my version.
http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3315/
I use this version with 1.5.1 and it works great.
Thanks for sharing!
Coolness, I will try it out when I get home, thanks!
Oh, hey! I didn't think we'd stumble across each other here :P.
Anyways, Master Blaster (and everyone else) whose not running 4K: get the original from WardSentinel: http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3315/
For those running 4K use mine: http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3327/
They are both exactly identical except for the AA optimizations for 4K. WardSentinel did a good job with the preset.
Thank you very much Rikuto-san for sharing insight into "workings" of Japanese Business...
I had a feeling Koei Tecmo was to "blame"
Team Ninja is just under pressure from "Master" Koei Tecmo. While also Koei Tecmo is pressured from Sony and Microsoft to "keep" content exlusive to PS4/XBOXONE to "encourage" more PS4/XBOXONE CONSOLE SALES.
It is balancing act...but when you offer less, then the market shift to one side...and the other side perish. There must be PARITY between what you release, use PS4/XBOXONE as BASE CODE to PC STEAM ONLY. It is ONLY WAY to be successful in PC STEAM MARKET.
I hope BLADESTORM is "handled" better...
Best of Luck Team Ninja...and WAKE UP KOEI TECMO IT'S NOT 1999
Guys please stop whining about the PC vs Console release of DOA5 in this thread, there are plenty of those threads on this forum so no need to spam here.
Lets keep the discussion on visual enhancements so we can all come up with a good suite of settings. Complaining wont bring back the particle physics or missing levels, so lets focus on what we can do. So far we've made some good progress with the major plugins and injectors, soon we will have a sort of base setting that the community can start from and when we get those concrete SweetFx_Settings or GemFX configs i'll post the link. Yeah it sucks we lost some particles, yeah it sucks we lost some boob physics, and 2 maps. Please stop trying to turn every thread into a protest thread. Tecmo doesnt even read these forums lol.
Or look at Skyrim now on PC when modders opened that tin can and now we have clothes, bodies, hairs with physics. I know in Fallout/Skyrim you got literally best mod tools devs ever give, but with free stuff like ENB we still get something when someone makes it like those heat effects.
@People asking perfect sweetfx/enb settings
That takes years. Even now 4 y old Skyrim gets a tons of changes on most popular ENBs
That's going to be a preference issue.
Personally, I've hardly ever seen any SweetFX setting that actually made any game look better. In the rare cases where a SweetFX setting actually improves some area, it also tends to make another area worse. But other people constantly go wild about configs that just bump up saturation or blows out the lighting.
(It may also be worth noting that none of these kinds of settings are going to make the PC version look as good as the current gen console versions.)
I hate to be the one to ask this but did you apply SweetFX presets properly when you tried them in whatever games you have tried them in? It's not exactly copy and paste - as nice as that would be.
SweetFX makes Skyrim look stunning (with the right ENB), Elder Scrolls Online looks amazing with the proper SweetFX, and DOA5 (although missing effects I've noticed) has a far better visual apperance with SweetFX than any of the next gen consoles (again, excluding missing effects).
However, Skyrim is the greatest example of how SweetFX can take a "meh" looking game and turn it into something fantastically beautiful.
