No Soft Engine, No Extra stages, PS3 version effects confirmed
Apologies to the original poster who put this up... but his title would keep most people from seeing this info.

Here's the Steam version specs-

short summary-

supports 4k
particle effects, etc are PS3 version
shadows are PS4 version
anti aliasing is in
Danger Zone and Crimson not in
New hair styles are in
Soft Engine NOT IN
Character select based off of PS4
No controller rumble
No Steam Achievements
Online still not coming for another 3 months.
UPDATE----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No Steam Cloud
No Keyboard remapping
Video/Sound has to be done externally via a configuration tool.

... also... those minimum specs! unoptimized port incoming!

- note how the table entry for the missing soft engine was "accidentally" left blank... scumbags.
- and now that entry has totally been removed!

UPDATE 3/28, the new manual has revealed anyone with a Steam name containing ? / :* ^ " < > | will encounter save problems and if you change your Steam ID after saving the game, your save might not work anymore! http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/311730/manuals/steam%28digital%29_DOA5LR.pdf?t=1427565664.

I could care less about the soft engine, but "No New Stages and Ps3 particle effects" what? why? Was the delay really just to by time until he last few weeks so pre-orders wouldn't be impacted as much

The Danger Zone stage with PS4 particles in 4k would have been amazing... oh well

I wouldn't trust the CPU requirement. It's probably the one PC they tested it on at team ninja. 4K and AA are nice, the lack of new particles and effects is pretty stupid. I don't care about the soft engine, I saw it on the PS4 and it really didn't look that much better than the regular spastic tits. I am glad they added the hair styles at least, but bummed about the stages.

I guess this is just a barely modified ps3 copy. Granted the ps4 version is a barely modified copy too...

Waoh, steam forums really censor the word Spas---tic?

Why would they not include the new stages and PS4 effects?
PCs are way more powerful than the consoles, so computation power isn't a valid point.
For such a price we should expect a full game with all stages and effects...

I wonder if it'd be possible to copy the levels from a PS4/XB1 game installation over to a pc and mod the levels to work on the pc version.... :D

Oh no doubt they will try to defend it, but bottom line is they said the delay was to give us the best experience possible, that was a load of BS.
