Where's the Mai Shiranui DLC?

I waited so long for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round Full Game to go on sale (Just had core fighters) and I can't find the Mai Shiranui DLC on the Steam store. Did it actually get delisted? Am I not looking hard enough?

Hope somebody knows because I am not buying the mediocre DOA6 nor am I buying the character DLC for that game just to play one of my favourite SNK characters.

And if it is delisted, shame on you, Koei Tecmo.

Yep, delisted and now we can't do a thing about a character that's literally downloaded to our computer.


I don't even get why this collab is so limited, all other guest characters in other fighting games are available as long as game is on sale.

Darn it, I was just about to buy the DOA5 LR full game too. I don't know, maybe I still will. But like I said, I'm not buying that mediocre DOA6 and character DLC just to play as Mai.

Unless there's a hack to play as Mai on DOA5 LR.

Yeah, not happening with me. Played the Core Fighters version of DOA6, reminded me too much of DOA4, my least favourite of the DOA series in my opinion. Plus, they don't have any good costumes like Tina's classic leather bikini with silver boots and vest or even DLC costumes for Mai like her SNK Heroines cowgirl bikini and, for fun & nostalgia, two costumes from Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture like her shorts & belltop shirt with "MILK" on it and her pink kimono outfit. And I doubt Koei Tecmo ever will now that they've ceased development on DOA6.

And I don't need to mention the whole "toning down the sexuality and everything else that made the DOA series what it is to appease SJWs" thing now, do I?

yeah i got the steam version and was disappointed mai was the only character no longer available. welp least i had her on the PS. but yeah least in doa6 you can still get her.

Yeah apparently she got removed on September 11th, 2019 after she was included in DOA6.

I saw that the AoT DLC was available for a year before being delisted, similar to Mai, just with a shorter availability period.

KT would just need to renew the license for the DLC, similar to what we want for Mai.

oh ♥♥♥♥ sorry its been a while i forgot that was a DLC already lol, i seriously thought you meant new content. anyways hmm i agree tbh all the dlc that's currently delisted or just has a link but no buy option would be good.

i feel an agreement with an anime company could be harder than SNK given SNK seem to give their characters to anything but that gacha/mobile game style give and take seems annoying for any DLC.

I've been playing DoA since dimensions on the 3ds. Clocked in hundreds of hours for both doa5 and doa6 on the ps4 too. I didn't get Dlcs apart from the characters in doa5 though so I can't relate costume-wise, but I personally loved how much more refined 6 was.

Naturally the sex appeal of the heroines was a huge plus but what made me stay was really how easy it was to get into the game compared to titles like sfv/tekken/injustice.

It's sad to see KT cease development of DOA6 so early, but it's tragic that not many people can appreciate the game, give it a chance to experience it to the fullest, even if it went in a different direction.
