Game was downloaded onto a 232GB external SSD with 17.8GB worth of space remaining. x64 based system, intel(R) core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2592 Mhz, 6 core(s) 12 logical processor(s) with a 1650GTX ninvidia card. I have directX12 installed.
OS:Windows 10
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I have tried deleting the save file then reinstalling after that, I have tried turning things off like AA and shadows in the config and fiddling around with my Nvidia card, but nothing works.
I also want to point out that I had the demo of the game downloaded at the time of purchase and it works just fine prior to that (I could only play like 4 characters) but as soon as I downloaded all of the DLC, that caused problems.
Also, I can run DOOM Eternal on high graphics and break demon's necks for hours without any problems.
What is autolink and yes it is the steam version.

This game is really sensitive to things like controllers that have been plugged in to your PC... or things that aren't, like a USB hub.
You might also try moving the game to a normal hard drive. Steam lets you move games to different drives now so you shouldn't have to download the whole thing again.
I suppose you could also check your driver to see if its trying to over-ride framerate settings or something. To keep a level playing field, this game insists on playing at 60 frames per second. No more, no less.
P.S. AutoLink is a mod that lets you add downloaded costumes and otherwise control the game. It has an option that lets you slow the game way down if you want.
But the graphics themselves look okay and I can perform just about any action in the training matches, it is just super super super slow.
My laptops resolution is 1920 X 1080.
Um, I will try to move the game and check the drives to see if that is the culprit. I'll also try moving the game to my home disk to see what happens.
Also, forgot to mention. I do have two USB hubs with USBS that I use to store pictures, files, etc. This is in addition to two external SSDS. In total, I have 3 SSDS (One home disk and two external disks) and 8 USBS connected to the cooling fan that I have. My mouse and keyboard are connected to the cooling fan USB slots, but not to the USB HUBS.
Can you give me a little more info?
