How is this a good PC port?
I'm a total newbie to this series and the storylines. Haven't even gotten to playing the game yet because it runs at windowed mode. Is there a way to make it full screen or borderless at 1920x1080 cause i have no luck looking for graphics settings in the game

When you boot the game from the Steam Library it gives you a launcher. There you decide to launch the game or launch the configuration tool which lets you set resolution and full screen mode.

Its a good port compared to the PS4 version, the only thing I hate about thr steam version, is the lack of a online lobby.
The story in fighting games are mostly vague and not very important.
this game plays really well with a PS4 controller too.

I didn't get any option to launch the configuration tool. It just launched the game straight up. I have tried out the free version in the past, maybe it might've popped up then but it didn't this time even though it's a fresh install with the full game.

This is in no way remotely close to a good port.

To get config try starting the game from your library.

Exactly. I see reviews saying it's a good port which was why i begged to differ. No graphics settings or resolution settings. I've tried everything. Opening the Config file from the game's folder kinda works

Their is a resolution setting and a very minimal graphics settings. Openning the game from library should show config which is where they are.

Have you got some special skin mod on Steam? That may be screwing things up.

If you're on the library page and click the Play button, the option to do a config will show up. Or you can right click on the entry in the library page and there should be an option to config and an option to play right at the top of the menu.

Edit: Note the graphics settings jump from 1920x1080 clear up to 4K with nothing between. If you need a different resolution, check my guide regarding the AutoLink mod.

Use the launcher, i have no problems with this game, it's smooth and it has the best fighting mechanics soo far, lobby or not i always find someone to fight against online and the loading screens are like 3-4 seconds unlike the lazy long loading times of Tekken 7.

The only reason most of us are here is to mod our game. Aside from this, it's a working, but dreadful port.

Nah speak for yourself, i have no issues with the game, it runs fine on my end, the port it's good and i play mainly because of the fighting mechanics because the game has better fighting mechanics (and everything else) than the other lazy fighting games that we have today.

I have to give out a statement. A good PC port doesn't mean that it ONLY has good performance. A good PC port is where the UI for handling keybinds, graphics options and video settings are good, PLUS the performance. Which in this case, the game only has good performance. I shouldn't have to specifically launch my game directly from my Steam Library JUST TO CHANGE THE VIDEO SETTINGS. That's an extra step i have to take. This is just a below average console port.

I have no issues with the graphics settings nor playing with the keyboard layout actually but that's me.

I had the same issue!!! After a few weeks of having it, I just kept trying and trying until the configuration came up. Its a glitch. Give it some time.

Your own subjective feelings have no bearing on the objectivity of the port quality.
