How to unlock story mode

Hello. I just downloaded the game (The free one) and was wondering why the Story Mode is disabled. Is there a way to unlock it without buying it? Thanks in advance!

Hmm I see. So there's really no other way to unlock it freely XD

And frankly - you're better off for it. I've been gaming since Space Invaders and I don't think I've seen a story worse than this one in a game. Plus it tends to crash far more than the main game, at least for me.
