It's a dumpster fire.

The performance is great and it looks gorgeous, but this game had three major flaws:

1. Controller detection sucks. The game basically decides on which controller is the 1st player at random, and no other controller works on the menu screen. If it's not a controller you can find, you literally can't play the game.

2. Online is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ non-existent. They only offer ranked, you can't play against friends, and it doesn't easily connect to people.

3. All the content is based on the PS3/Xbox 360 versions. No PS4/XB1 content is in this game.

Neither one of those issues have been fixed in over a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ year, even though they continue to update DLC content. So they've assigned developers to continue selling ♥♥♥♥, but they've assigned ZERO development resources to actually fix any of those problems.

I love DOA. I own at least one copy of DOA on every platform it's been released on and I own a copy of DOA 5, in one form or another, for EVERY platform it's been released on.

The PC port is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke, and it's kind of sad given how CLOSE it is to not being that. A small team with a solid month of honest time on the code would probably take the game from "Mixed Reviews" and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sales numbers to "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews.

The're no end to info about what they need to fix in this sub and they've ignored ALL of it.

It is possible to play multiplayer. My friend and I played very recently and what we do is queue up for ranked at the same time. Here's a few tricks you can try to get it to match you guys up:

- Make sure your search settings are the same
- Queue at same time
- If queue takes longer than 1-2 minutes, one or both of you cancel queue and re-queue right away
- If you still don't matched up then buy Tekken 7
