Does enter the gungeon's cloud saves work cross platform? E.g mac to windows?

My macbook air is currently being fixed, which is my personal laptop that I play most of my games on, I want to play enter the gungeon on another windows computer that I have in the house and I know that it has steam cloud enabled, but does anyone know if it works from mac to windows or even reverse?

I tried using pc gaming wiki to check because for nuclear throne, it specifically states that steam cloud doesn't work cross platform, but I don't know if they state that for every game if the saves aren't cross platform.

I also don't want to overwrite my save by playing on the windows computer and it starts a new game and that save overwrites my real save from my mac.
