Trouble using Mod the Gungeon (mac)

I wanted to try out mods, so I downloaded Mod the Gungeon from http://modthegungeon.eu and downloaded the ETGMod.Installer v16.12.16. I tried to open it with mono in terminal, but all it shows is:
Entering the holy realm of ETGMod.
Asset 0: ETGMod.Installer.Assets.background.png
Asset 1: ETGMod.Installer.Assets.icons.main.png
Asset 2: ETGMod.Installer.Assets.icons.main-large.png
Asset 3: ETGMod.Installer.Assets.icons.open.png
Asset 4: ETGMod.Installer.Assets.icons.uninstall.png

and mono doesn't respond. The installer doesn't show up.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

Dude all you need to do is type Sudo mono (installer location)

I've installed Mono, MonoGame (I didn't know what to download so -_-) and I can't open ETGMod.Installer using terminal. I tried Sudo mono and it didn't do anything! How do I even get it to respond? What commands do I have to use?

I managed to get it working by:

1. Installing mono.
2. In the terminal, navigating to my Downloads folder with the ETGMod.Installer.exe file.
3. Typing "mono ETGMod.Installer.exe".
4. Opening Steam.
5. Opening Enter the Gungeon.

At that point the installer opened. I just need to find my "EtG_OSX" file which is for some reason not where my other games are... Will update.

I tried the same thing, but it isn't working for me. That seems a little odd if you ask me.
