Level system and perks or special abilities

Since i am very hyped for Enter the Gungeon, i would like to know if:

1- in the Gungeon there will be a level system like in nuclear throne; if yes what what kind of aftermath will bring the level up?
2- there will be some perks of special abilities that you can find, buy or learn?

It is a buff/item stacking system similar to the binding of isaac, or early zelda games. You can find items that give you special abilities, or buy them, or they drop off bosses, or you can bet npcs, or play a minigame, or get them from shrines...etc. There is no XP- you don't level. Its a roguelike- so obviously things reset when you die. BOI is the closest comparison in terms of mid-run player progression.

Well, the game will be "ready" to release by the end of march, but at this point it seems most likely that it will be very early april that it actually releases. I was close! Preorders should be available fairly early in march.

No beta, sorry. Traditional release inlate march/early april. zeroing in on final date. Will be out before dark souls 3 (so i can play it).

yes. limited to 1000~ comes with something physical. :) there will also be a soundtrack edition, not limited...

exact details still a bit up in the air but- for sure one of the versions will be more expensive because it comes with a physical thing that i hope you guys like.

if its a figurine of any of those bulletmen itll be the first collector's edition of anything I will ever buy.

That is a question i can't answer. I honestly have no idea what the shipping situation will be yet. I assume it will fall in line with other Devolver game's physical goods ship costs.
