The Fireplace On Floor One

When I purchased the water pistol at the shop one of the first things I did was fire aimlessly just to see what it interacted with. Then I came to The Fireplace I sprayed it with water and suddenly the cover comes off and I could step into it, Spamming E I pressed a button and a secret room appeared on the map, inside of it was a trap door requiring two keys.

Since the first time I found it, I have discovered that the fireplace can be put out by any Ice or Water firing gun but have never managed to unlock the Trapdoor and it has bugged me. Every time I play through its there sat in the middle of its room, sat there bugging me. So I just want to know what under the Trapdoor. My guess is it's just a shortcut but like I said I have never opened it and hope it's something exciting

you can extuingush the fireplace in every single run, just use the water barrels.

Kick them around and move them to the room with the fire, it's clunky at first.
You'll reach a special level in which you'll find a red armor that you have to bring to the altar in level 2 to access another secret level. But if you get hit once the armor will disappear, so be careful on level 2 and make sure to take the armor only once you've fully completed the first special level.

Do not worry there are a lot of things left to learn that might surprise you. Some who have played 70+ hours realise some things that others discover by accident in the first couple of runs, it is a bit of the charm with this game in my opinion.

Optional floor, bit harder then the normal 2nd stage. Contains an item you need for a questline. Don´t get hit after obtaining it...

The easiest way about it is to kill the boss of the secret floor, THEN grab it. Then you just have to get to the altar on the 2nd floor, instead of having to do the remainder of the secret floor AND get to the altar.
