How many levels long is the game?

Trying to consider whether to stick with the game. I generally die around floor four or five. How much longer do I have to go in order to beat it?

I don't really know, but I just got in the Chamber 4.
Looking at the Ammonomicon, I don't remember the real name, you can see there's more 2 or 3 slots to "Kill the Boss without being Hit" item... I think it's 5, but I'm not sure.

there are 5 floors and secret floors. Also when you get one item you get special boss battle after final boss and that special boss is different for every character. When you kill all those 4 special bosses you get 6th floor which is really hard. So I think that you can complete like 8 floors in one game if you complete secret floors. I'm not sure how many secret floors you can complete in one run. Also it took beta tester 150 hours to 100% complete the game and I think that he knew all secrets and how to unlock everything because he was beta tester.

How do I access the second secret floor?
I know how to access the first one... by putting it out the fire

Alright buckle up cuz we are now entering SPOILER TERRITORY!

After entering the first secret level you will find a cup shaped icon on the map. It is a crest that acts like armor. Take it ONLY when you have beaten the boss becuz it will prioritize itself over other armor. This means if you take damage, that crest is the first to go and that is bad. You need it for the 2nd floor.
Now remember that room with a bunch of stone coffins, GO THERE.
On the alter place the crest and BOOM, secret passage unlocked.

And... We can't be hit even once, right? Or we will lose it...
That's sounds so good and challenging, I will try =)

Yeap, you can't get hit once with that crest on. It's a nice challenge and brea in mind that the second secret room isn't easy.

Honestly getting in the second secret floor isn't that hard, just do the requirements after your beat the boss, then you just have to reach the right place without getting hurt which shouldn't be too hard considering it is basic monsters.

Now the real challenge is to beat the game with all the characters and do all the secrets, if I understand correctly going at the end of the game doesn't let you finish truly the story, you have to do specific stuff to get true ending. (but I may be wrong on that, that being said there is quite a few secrets to unlock, and not the easiest ones).
