chest colors, different tiers?

so are all chests equal or are they different tiers? i want to know if i should prioritize a specific color if i only got one key

Tiers. Lowest to highest: brown, blue, green, red, black

I can't absolutely confirm it, but it does feel like there are tiers. I tend to only get garbage weapons from brown chests. And whenever I see the big red ones, I almost always get some super weapon or a decent passive.

Green is a nice bit bigger than blue, so that should make it quite simple.

You can also find a rainbow chest that drops a lot of items I think it was 8

i agree that getting used to having blue before green could take some getting used to but if it's bigger like bob said i think i'll be fine

There is also a big rainbow chest as well which will drop out 8 items! I guess it's super rare to find one seeing as I only find it once. here is a screen shot i did of it
