You can also push water barrel into fireplace and then there is button or lever inside that fireplace and it unlocks secret room somewhere in that floor and there is door with 2 locks so you need 2 keys and then you get to secret floor.
Thats something diffrent.

Also everyone make sure you push at least one overturned table down into a pit. ;)

Can someone show what a cracked wall looks like? I've been going around shooting all the walls and looking for something sticking out and nothing..

i know you can see them after you bought a map. but still need to find a way in. according to the explaination for the base pistals, i assume you can open them by shooting the walls with all non base pistals.

You will be able to tell it is a cracked wall based on actually looking at the top part of the wall, not the wall itself.

Also not ALL non-starter weapons reveal. The Water Blaster at least doesn't (which is expected tbh)

Are you talking about Before or After? because I am asking for a way to tell before it is even cracked.

I don't know if it's a coincidence or not but the a precise point on the border of the room (if you look at it with the map) was a little bit crooked in the exact point of the cracked wall.

As in a small indent?

The wall looked like this "-------______"
Of course not as noticeable as that, but in a certain point it wasn't a straight line anymore.

Ah nevermind xD
I just tried it again and it changes every time you move, it's like a small flickering on the map's borders.

If you find a map of the area, all secret rooms appear on your map.
Than you go to the closest wall and shoot at it (you can't use guns with unlimited ammo) until it cracks.
Now you press Q to use a blank and the wall disappears.

Maybe explosives work too :o

Yeah the bomb gun randomly opened a wall for me once

- The Mega Douser is a very handy way to quickly check every room for goodies. So are a few other weapons. Don't be afraid to spray around a bit with less valuable guns.
- The Bullet's starting weapon, Blasphemy, *does* find secret doors, despite having infinite ammo.
- There's apparently a slight discoloration of walls with secret rooms behind them. It's difficult enough to see though that I've never really noticed it.
- Mapping items reveal secret rooms, but if found in a shop are rarely worth the money IMHO.
- Treasure rooms are easy to check efficiently... just shoot in the middle of any of the walls that have enough space behind them for a secret room.
- Shrines are easy to check too. See the floor leading off to a wall without a door in a shrine room? Check it.
- If you have up to 2 (or however many you regenerate thanks to passives) blanks left at the end of a floor, feel free to fire them off, since you regenerate up to two blanks every Chamber (or more with some passives). I usually try them in the shop and the elevator-down room.
- The Bomb active can open walls like blanks do. I tried an explosive barrel once and it didn't work, though.
- 2 *specific* secret doors are always available: The secret entrances to two of the secret floors. I won't comment on those since some may consider that spoilers, though.

You sure about that? I was just doing a run with the Mega Douser and it was totally finding hidden rooms for me.
