Magical Item (Spoilers)
I'm trying to open the shortcut up and he says he needs a powerful magical item from chamber 1. What is he talking about?

He means one of the master casings or whatever they're called that you get from nohitting the boss on each floor. Basically just kill gatling gull without getting shot.

You get the Master Casing 1,2,3,4,5 for defeating the boss of the corresponding floor without getting hit during that fight
