Chamber 2 shortcut?

First you have to meet an NPC,sometimes appears on second Chamber near Elevator,then do some stuff for him.

Sooo.... I just found it... I just had to ♥♥♥♥ my pants a little.
After you meet the guy and he says he'll be waiting for you in chamber 2, jump down the hole left by the bullet elevator.

there are 3 stages. First he requires 3 blanks, then 3 keys and 120 currency, finally 10 of those green things you get for killing bosses (used for unlocking guns in the shop)

While I'm not certain as I unlocked it without it being the last part - but with him accepting it prior as I happened to have it on me - I do believe there is a 4th requirement:
Chamber 1 Mastery bullet, received after killing the Chamber 1 boss without taking damage. Likewise, Chamber 2 Mastery bullet is also a requirement, or at least he asks for it, when working on the Chamber 3 shortcut.

It's also worth noting that each stage has to be completed on that level, so you can't bring 3 keys first and then 120 shells later - but you can of course finish subsequent stages later, i.e. 3 keys+120 shells one run, 10 hegemony credits next run - just adding it as it takes a bit of saving up ^^

yes sorry. i did it tonight on thr ps4 version. you have to kill the chamber 1 boss without getting hit. you get a mastery item then which you can give to the npc.

luckily i had the beholder gun which has been by far the best weapon i have aquired in the game so far. i was able to get to chamber level 5 before croaking! ha

So are these shortcut people just random occurences like everything else in this game or are there prerequisites to get them to show up?

In 2 floors. And yeah it's not too easy, the keys are not a problem, the casings tho are pretty hard to get.

Plus you have to give up on chests and items if you're gonna give him what he wants.

Here is some of the more annoying ♥♥♥♥ he wants for the later floors:

Floor 4: He wants 4 junk, which means you have to sacrifice almost every chest you come across for every floor... Sometimes the chests blow up, which don't give you any junk and sometimes they're mimics.... huge pain in the ass.

Floor 5: He wants you to have 6 hearts... lots of luck.

Like you have to kill every boss without getting hit. Wtf.
