About the "Bloodied Scarf"
Is it supposed to sometimes teleport/blink you to your cursor's location..?
That got me hit quite a lot and I've just been wondering if that's even meant to happen or if it's a bug.

Absolutely hate the scarf, after getting so used to the dodge roll, it just completely throws me off and I teleport into bullets instead.

It's awesome when you get used to it and understand how it works, but it got me torn to shreds the first run I got it.

I'm sorry but I think the bloodied scarf is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trash. Basically got to the dragun for the first time in 90+ deaths only to teleport to his pit repeatedly. Even went through both secret floors and had 8 max HP. Definitely putting this game on the shelf for a while to cool off.

Edit: From now on when I'm unable to use a controller, ♥♥♥♥ this item

I suppose this topic isn't about opinions about the scarf, but i cant help but rant that the damn thing has NO invincibility frames the moment you press the button, unlike the ultra-reliable dodge-roll, which is pretty much invincibility until you land on button press.
Edit: Well actually i'm not entirely sure if the dodgeroll has a invincible startup, but it sure seems alot more reliable then the scarf's. Who knows, maybe it just LOOKS terrible.

It litterally makes you vulnerable for half a second before teleporting you a dodge-roll's distance away, which means you'll get hit before you teleport out of there... The timing being faster then a regular dodge-roll also really gets confusing.
Oh well, atleast the teleport is great, don't ever need to unlock a door ever again! Or to escape cornering and to bypass the ultra-cheap puzzle rooms with tons of nigh-undodgable traps.

I can't imagine having any success with the Bloody Scarf while using a controller.
But if you're very used to mouse and keyboard, it can be incredible.

yup, scarf sucks ass on controller, can confirm.

To EVERYONE. You can still dodge roll with the scarf, except you...don't. It's wierd and it has a high learning curb, but just hang on here. When you would do a normal dodge roll and press the corresponding button, you'll blink out of and into existance about the same distance your dodge roll would take you with 100% invincibility and you'll delete enemy bullets that are super close to you, not close to you but super close, like "any bullets that are touching your sprite on the frame you blink into existance" close, so judge accordingly. Now if you hold the button, all of the above still apply but instead of a blinking dodge roll, you'll blink to your cursor in the same amount of time as a dodge roll. This makes it extremely useful for attacks that track you or are wave/line like. The first time you get this item you may be confused or even hate it. But if you master it, enemies will hardly hit you. Now if you pair this with the Super Hot Watch...
It's easier to just hold it down and go wild with the teleports.

Yeah, wherever you land a tiny blank happens in regards to bullets. I can't imagine playing with this item with a controller. With a mouse and keyboard you have a cursor on the screen and you can literally jump all the way across the screen, 10 dodge roll lenghts every second.

You can also blink through closed locked doors and save keys that way, had a big play on one floor with locked shop and winchester game this way, felt like such a smartass :D
