Crutch + Coconut gun bugged?

So the explosive nuts just keep curing off right ahead of my player, just 90degree turn right after beeing fired, while the leafs just go straight ahead. Seems kinda bugged. Some times the nut go forward in a looping kind of way but 99% of the time it just heads straight into the nearest wall.

So, is this combo bugged or working?
