The game's RNG makes progress inconsistant (you CAN be screwed hard) but within 15 hours, you should at least have one run that can do it. At the very minimum.
I 100% agree there should be an easy mode for people who are less skilled or want a more forgiving game, but the game is about more than simply beating it, and no amount of HP will make Lich fair to fight.
Im sorry, but thats how difficulty works.
You'll learn with time. Take it one step at a time and get a feel for the basic mechanics. You actually don't need to move around nearly as much as you'd think.
If the enemy is aiming where you ARE, why not let them fire as much as possible before being not there? Alot of attacks have clearly defined safe zones, and alot of the early patterns can just be rolled into safely.
One of the main things about most bullet hell games is they're actually not reflex based at all. Gungeon is to a degree, but the main thing is positioning and foresight
So what's the problem?
Alot of people seem to assume an easy mode is anathema to their fun. For some reason.
"Becuz thos dmn newbs should jus git gud lik the rest of us and play the gme"
"Get noscoped, scrub."
Or rather hyperbolically.
Give it a try, you might spot things that you hadn't noticed before, or see patterns in the bullets more easily when you dont have to worry about dodging them.
Heh, then don't watch northernlion
