Dodge Roll should be polished up a bit
it's really good and feels pretty responsive but it doesn't feel quite responsive enough sometimes you press the button when a bullet is about to hit you and you clearly press it before it hits you and then you take damage anyway so yeah it should a little polished not saying it's horrible it's just slightly bad :P but yeah it sounds nitpicky I know but the controlls really need to be at they're tightest when it comes to these types of games

Seems very responsive to me.

I've had a few cases of the roll not granting invincibility so it could use some tuning.

yeah that's what I mean sometimes I press the button and my character just runs into the bullets like an idiot :D

I'm referring more to having the animation fire off, then during the midair portion it where you are safe, taking damage anyway. Pretty rare but Beholster shows it once or twice if you roll over a missile and the beam at the same time and the beam detonates the missile.

Never seen it consistantly, but it has happened to me u.u

oh that's just because you have the I. Frames for around three - fourth of the dodge roll and not the entire thing

Except you can, and are designed to clear the beam in the roll. Easily. It's particularly notable and obvious because you are still clearly visible in the air when the hit happens, and only touch the ground and do the recovery animation after you are already over the beam and have been damaged.

You are damaged DURING the i-frames. For some reason. As I said, I've seen it... I think twice total, because I like using the beam to kill the missiles. And I've been in that situation more than twice.

Yeah I get hit during the beginning of the roll all the time. You either aren't invicible during the start or it bugs out sometimes.

I noticed that happening when playing sub 60 fps (around 35-40). Can't say for sure if it was just easier to dodge at a smoother frame rate or if you lose out on some iframes towards the start of the roll at lower fps but it was certainly a noticeable difference. Either way I would say try your best to get up to at least 60 and see if the issue is still happening.

Never happened to me tbh
In fact, sometimes I feel like I dodge rolled too late but I still don't get hit
Try setting your graphics quality to lower and see if it still happens

my graphics settings are high but I use Razer Game Booster which makes it run at a consistent 60 so yeah it happens sometimes

I don't think it needs 'polishing'. The invincibility just doesn't start on the first frame of your dodge. You need to be a little more precise when using it.

it's not that it's just that you press the button and theres a slight delay beetween the button press and the actual move

Happens immediately for me

You're running the game above what your computer can handle. Anyone else who's ever had this problem saw it disappear when they lowered their shader setting.
