Quick Question About Duct Tape

Considering how duct tape makes your currently equipped weapon fire the projectile of the next, could you theoretically get a gatling gull minigun that shoots BSG shots if you combine the two?

Not sure if it works like that for charge shots, basically it would just shoot minigun until you release the trigger after charged and then it would realease bsg, atleast that is how I think it works.

Yeah, that is. Duct Tape is really pretty bad. I mixed Plunger and Vulcan Cannon. Never forget

Hmm, since charge shot weapons don't gel as well, I suppose a minigun that fired bees would be much better.

This sounds like it could be crazy broken/OP if you do it right, and a waste if you do it wrong. I'd like to know more about the mechanics on this as well.

I guess we can use this post to start gathering data on duct tape synergies. First Note: you can't use duct tape in conjunction with your starter weapon. Second Note: BSG with CQB is awful, and you should never do it.

Well, I tried duct taping a grenade launcher to a black hole gun earlier today. Was not impressed, and all it did was use up my black hole launcher's ammo faster.

Thankfully that weapon is so amazing I managed to flawless the Dragun without even moving an inch, anyway.

I can report that Screecher (rapid fire short range) + BSG is awful. The screecher kept shooting it's usual bullets while the BSG charged once and never again. (Probably because the screecher doesn't reload.)

BSG+Composite Gun might work well. Both are charge weapons.

The one time I got duct tape I used it on I think it was the machine pistol I don't quite remember other than that it was definitely one of those quick fire auto weapons, with the gamma ray which made it still shoot normal bullets but with an added green laser to poison, was pretty decent at clearing rooms since you could posion enemies and wittle there health down at the same time :P

Wish they had some kind of formula that you could plug it in so you'd know what you'd get ahead of time. Often times during game, I just alt tab out and I have the gungeon wiki up so I can look up items quick.

If you were to combine the BSG with something like the megaman blaster, since that has a charge ability, could you essentially come away with a BSG that has 300 ammo?

Possibly, but the extra projectiles also use up ammo, as I found out in my black hole gun experiment.

So it'd "only" have 150 shots, if it works, and probably would only shoot a BSG shot once per reload, possibly as the last bullet.

Hmm. Duct tape makes itself out to be this high tier item, but there doesn't seem to be many good synergies with it.

Well from what i have read you jokers are exclusively trying to force a rapidfire BSG into exsistance. Something like a M1 firing some form of DoT shots seems useful. or a pea shooter rocking grenade ammo.

The question is whether or not those can actually be made with duct tape though. It seems kind of finicky when it comes to combining weapons together.
