Youtube/streamers
Watching others play Gungeon can sometimes be as much fun as playing it yourself.

Which youtubers/streamers would you recommend? Someone who doesn't spoil themselves, pay attention, like to experiment, doesn't use explots etc

I've tried watching Northernlion but he is so bad it's physically painful to watch him

I actually enjoy watching players who start off really bad and miss obvious ♥♥♥♥, like NL. I'll probably continue watching him until he beats Bullet Hell, and then stop.

Sleepcycles is me favourite, never really liked Cobalt Streak, seemed a bit of a douche

I second this. Decent humor, is actually really good at these types of games. He even has hundreds of episodes on Nuclear Throne.

You should watch CobaltStreak. He mainly plays Binding of Isaac and Enter the Gungeon, and some other games on the side.

I like NL and Cobalt Streak.
I'm not really watching any of them right now cause i've played the game enough (still have to beat the 6th chamber ) so i'm kinda bored.

If Egg Lord is so bad at Gungeon then i am the most terrible Gungeon player ever born into existance...

He did beat most of the pasts in less than 60 deaths. It took me 70 hours of game time to defeat the Dragun only once.

Yes, he doesn't read the ammonomicon often, misunderstands what weapons/items do and doesn't even try them out but to say he is "bad" is so far from right then the moon is from planet earth.

NL isn't really a bad player, and he's pretty fast to learn - and he also has a ton of experience from prior roguelite -games. I enjoy his commentary as well, even if he sometimes strays a bit too far from the subject. He has a lot of memorable quotes. But I think the main problem with him is that the kind of mistakes he does are the ones that most infuriate the viewers.

Yepp, his commentary is pure gold for me, especially since he grew up in the same generation as myself - so a lot of quotes do work for me and i enjoy is commentary way more than the actual gameplay.

personally i like watchin BaerTaffy hes not super skilled but pretty good, his commentary is good too.

You're forgetting that he played this game before the release and also plays with Kate quite a bit.

NL is exactly that: bad. The only thing going for him are his slightly above average mechanical skills that anyone with half a brain would develop after playing videogames so much.

Tell me if the following qualities describe a good player.

→ Prone to tilting and panicking
→ Unable to plan ahead
→ Jumps to conclusions and rarely reconsiders
→ Plays well exclusively in his comfort zone
→ Has terrible memory
→ Slow to learn from his mistakes

...Yea, he's bad.
