"Evil Munchers"
Are there any tips for running into these? Anything that factors into their spawn rate? I've just beaten SUPER MEGA SECRET FINAL LEVEL AFTER CHAMBER 5 OAOAOAo and I've yet to see a single one in the game, ever. And I always explore every chamber 100%. Except SUPER MEGA SECRET FINAL LEVEL AFTER CHAMBER 5 OAOAOAo.

The super secret final chamber has a 100% chance of having one I think, but it's in a secret room. I've never seen them anywhere else

Well that's fairly ridiculous. You need to feed 10 of them to unlock a gun...

Seems like they have a slim chance of spawning on other floors in place of regular gun eaters. Seen one on floor 4 before killing all the pasts but haven't seen one outside of floor 6 since.

It's a random number, not 10. Sometimes it's just one. Sometimes it's 12

So you just need to 'successfully' satisfy him once to unlock it then? Which sounds fine.

It's a random number, not 10. Sometimes it's just one. Sometimes it's 12

He meant the unlock, not a fresh in-game gun. For the unlock, you always need 10. Not necessarily in one run, though.

It's a funny gun. Shoots tiny slow-moving first-form Liches that, in turn, shoot enemies in the room.

I've seen one evil muncher, in a secret room on floor three, never would have known it was there (as the entrance was in the corner of a normal room) without picking up a map from a chest
