Unfinished Gun syngergies?
There has to be SOMETHING...

Maybe that's the joke - players expect something like an "unfinished" or "broken" weapon or item to become super powerful later during a game.

The way i see it, it's just a weapon, designed to mess with the player's expectations.
It seemed to have accomplished that.

This gun has bugged me since I first seen it. The descrption and idea of the gun says there should be more to expect from it, and the fact that the blacksmith is also working on one drives me crazy. There must be a mystery that will be discovered.

The description about the hourglass on the handle, and how underpowered it is. I wish there is some undiscovered secret to it.

Unfinished Gun can be used with weaker versions of guns in a Mu ncher to get the better version.
Example:
Sawed-Off Shotgun + Unfinished Gun = Regular Shotgun
Bow + Unfinished Gun = Shotbow/Charm Bow/CrescentCrossbow

I always felt like the munch er wasn't a random output kinda deal, more of a mash up between the two guns you toss in. Maybe that is the secret to it.

That was my first theory, then it moved to maybe if you throw one in water. Or spray one with a water gun. Or carry it through a certain number of chambers/rooms. Nothing. But there has to be something.

Considering the pea shooter has a frickin synergy, I would not be suprised if there is something we just haven't discovered yet.

Now wait a second, let's think this through. Is there an item that speeds up time? I know plenty that slow it down.
