I doubt it.
Kaliber seems like a bit of a pain in the ass.
Gunsmith the decent sort.
Have you read her dialogue?
More specifically the multiarmed form of the final statue. Further backed up by that sprite being used in the old king's chamber on either side of where he starts. Seems to make sense that a king/demigod would have statues of his god in his throne room.
Is the person they onced worked for the now-lich, or someone else? It could swing either as him being corrupted by Kaliber or just a dark magician, or literally just some random monster (though the monster seems sentient).
I wonder if in a later update it will become possible to go back and learn what exactly happened and possibly change it, saving Cadence. Blacksmith is too integral and doomed herself by paradox, and it seems like she'd try to get her sister out at any cost anyway.
Regardless, taking on Kaliber is definitely what I want for the TRUE Final Boss.
Well, the Sixth Chamber was one of the items that led to the creation of the Jammed, and it was an omen. Since the Lich is imprisoned there *banished to Bullet Hell* I assume that there is indeed a solid connection.
