High Priest is the hardest one due to him having many attacks that are way more random.
Kill Pillars are frustrating, but I'm starting to figure them out. On the Ring around the Rosie attack, stick to one of the corners of the little area you can stand in. Jump over both the ring that shoots out from the center and the flame rope that'll be coming for you at the same time by gonig directly up or down. When all the Pillars come jumping toward your face, they shoot out bullets every 3rd stomp on the ground, so just time it right by leaping right before they land for distance, and leaping right again to dodge when the bullets come. The final part where there's 1 pillar left, go to the top of the room if you can simply because I find that makes it easier to dodge his attacks. The window is tight, but it's a predictable attack so once you get practice jumping over the bullets you'll get that part down.
Wallmonger I struggle with, too. The fire attack, you have to dodge THROUGH the fire, which means you'll need to roll immediately again to put out the fire. The timing on it is a little tricky, but I try to focus on not getting hit more than firing. Thing about the Wallmonger is accuracy is a literal non-factor so you can spam whatever and not even worry about it. The rest of the fight, treat it like a true bullet-hell boss and try to weave your way around his attacks. I know it's easier said than done, but it's kind of just what you gotta do. Only other advice I've got is when he sends the bullet wave at you that's a literal straight line, dodge directly right or left rather than jumping over the rope. If you ever jump TOWARD Wallmonger, you'll get hit. Dodgerolls need to be to the sides. Rely on your iFrames more than simply putting yourself where the bullets won't be, if that makes any sense.
For Kill Pillars: during circle trap phase, stay 45º to the SE of the pillars, time your roll directly to the north with when they slam down and send the circle out, allowing you to clear both the line and the circle simultaneously, then walk back down to your position before the roll while firing at them. When they separate, don't bother trying to focus one down, just shoot at whichever one you can hit. When they come stomping downa fter you, just keep dodge rolling away, forget firing back. When they line up vertically to stomp the screen left to right, just get to the left side of the screen with them as they line up, and roll under them when they do their first jump, from then on you're free to fire at them out of harm's way. When they're in the center stomping bullets, just walk around the bullets while returning fire, those bullets are relly slow and with enough space between the shots to allow you to maneuver. When there's only one pillar left, roll twice to the right when he's about to slam, fire a few shots at him when he lands, then do the same to the opposite side you just came from making sure to dodge roll over the bullet wave he created when slamming the ground (it's the easiest part of the boss if you just don't get greedy and try to fire too much between each of his jumps).
Haha dual post ninja'd.
It was only High Priest though, so I didn't get any practice. I had the Metronome up to red but he knocked it off with a surprise early homing shot that I wasn't ready for.
Then I got killed on the first room of floor 5. 4 fire blobs in a tiny room with hammers banging on the side walls. git gud.
