I suppose using it li that would make it more worth it, yeah. Still, egh. It really doesn't do anything for me.
Yeah on normal runs it's not worth the hassle, but on cursed runs it is quite a neat weapon to get, as freezing jammed enemies is super useful.
It's not supposed to. It's a solid piercing bullet meant to "shatter" frozen enemies, but due health mechanics it doesn't do much.
The damage output is kind of pitiful for its clip size/reload speed/rof, to the point where it was quicker to use the hunter's crossbow against the first three bosses. I can't tell if maybe I was using it wrong, but it just felt so underwhelming.
Were you hitting the bosses with the inital attack (big orb) or the following blast? When the orb seperates it does plenty more damage.
"One last trick."
This is pretty much true. The worst thing is, it's firing effect makes it seem MUCH stronger than it is.
The unsubscribe?
Either that or the Unfinished Gun.
Can't even do the Corsair cheese tactic of firing into rooms before you enter them. I mean, you can, but it doesn't help very much.
Don't worry about the ammo with it, and you'll be like "Oh this isn't half bad" until the clip runs dry.
