Transmogrify Weapons Are Really Bad?

Just had a run where I ended up using the Bundle of Wands for a while, and I have to ask, is it just me or are weapons like it (the ones that turn enemies into chickens) really bad?
The main two problems I notice with them are that
1) Enemies that get turned into chickens never drop money and
2) Chickens will body-block and prevent you from being able to hit enemies behind them

Just wondering if others share this opinion

Yeah I tend to munch them if given the opportunity, but they can be a god send in later floors if used on particularly dangerous foes.

I treat them as a quick weapon to switch to if I come across an annoying cursed enemy.

I personally love them, if i drop a Witch Pistol or a Hexagun i know i'm gonna get at least to floor 5.
They can turn into chickens mini boss enemies that would give you a lot of trouble otherwise.
You kill the chickens if you touch them.

I think it would go a looong way if they made it so chickens have a 30% chance to drop a shell on death

I once turned a cursed shambling round into a chicken.

Well, those items are basically a trade off. It gives you the chance to intagib enemies by turning them into chickens, at the cost of money drop. It has its place, but I don't really like to not get money, especially if I have the Microtransaction gun.

The bundle of wands does very decent damage.

If you don't like using it to clear rooms, you could always use it for bosses.

Wand items are a tradeoff between safety and money.

I love them, honestly. Hexagun is phenomenal for damage output on any floor and Witch Pistol combines decent damage and mag size with the chance to transmog. It makes clearing tough rooms without getting hurt much easier.

The transmorgify weapons are amazing on floor 6 as well. At that point there's nothing to spend your casings on, so the faster you kill the hordes the better.

I dont really care about transmogrifying enemy and getting out of money,i just love those guns,especially Hexagun,its just too good even because of transmogrifying,its actually could kill enemy faster,than transmogrifying will activate
