Secret Rooms

Hi guys, am i blind or something? Played about 10 hours and didnt found any secret room. Is there an easy way to recognize where are they? Can someone take screenshot of any of them? Thanks!

Honestly, I usually only get them if they're in a fairly obvious place, such as in Chest rooms the exit room, or if I get lucky and I blank or my armor breaks in a room with them.

There probably is some way to predict as of this new patch but I'll be damned if I know how.

Play the tutorial again, it shows you a secret room in a fairly obvious place. Even drops you a blank to use for it.

In case you didn't know, you (or your enemies) reveal secret rooms by shooting at a wall in a possible connector location with a gun that doesn't have infinite ammo. If there's a secret room, a crack will appear in the wall.

They only way is too look for cracks in the walls, but when do cracks appear? When either you or an enemy shoot that wall (your standard gun doesn't count).

So yeah, it's mostly randomness most of the times, unless you wanna waste all your ammo looking for them

It's in the room where you drop 1 blank (not the room where you receive the blank for the first time), there's a crack in the wall down below you.

You can at least shoot at the middle of the walls in treasure rooms -- there's a decent chance for a secret room being there. Then again, a secret room might contain as little as a single half-heart, so they might not even be worth it.

I generally only open secret rooms when I'm low on health, even if I do see the crack.

Use your large-ammo terrible-power guns to find them. I generally check treasure rooms and maybe deadend hallways, that's it. They aren't a massive boon.

Found one yesterday in the shop. Had to shoot the wall to confirm it (which the shopkeeper hates), but sure enough, it was there. So keep that in mind too.

I don't think so, but he still had his text bubble up from when I shot the wall, so I'm not 100% sure if it adds to it or not.
