Unfinished Gun?
Starts out as a D-teir item with peircing shots, but the item description says:

This gun is still in the process of being forged! It barely functions in its current state, but could be a viable choice in a truly desperate situation. A small hourglass is embossed on the cylinder.

So it sounds like you need to get the gun on the first floor and carry it with you on the rest of the trip to let it "finish," right? But no-one has ever confirmed this? (No more information on the wiki)

Well i can say with experience that carrying the gun all the way through the 1st floor and into Bullet Hell, does nothing to improve the gun. Your idea, however , would be great . U should suggest the beta patch .

It seems like that's the gun's intended design but they either scrapped the idea or forgot to impliment it in the current game. Could be a difficulty in programming it, like when will it finish? After 2 floors? 3? 4?

if you look at the blacksmith in the forge she is building an unfinished gun of the same design. it would be cool to carry the gun all the way down there to give it to her to finish it and possibly get a S teir gun. i dunno call it dragons bane or something since the only obstacle after the forge is the dragon

how about "finished gun"

also, i've seen her sell it multiple times... so you could sometimes just buy it and give it to her.

seems like an easy change of little consequence to make her sell something else

Another COOL idea, is that the gun is "still warm" and you have to cool it by gaining coolness items, which reduce your active item's cooldown time. Once you get a certain percent (say 40% cooler) then the Unfinished Gun will be the Finished/Tempered Gun.

That or carrying it down to the Forge. It's certainly not the first time they've made us carry things down multiple floors.
