Will Stout Bullets have effect on Abyssal Tentacle and beam-type weapons?

I'm using Stout Bullets and I just bought Abyssal Tentacle and Yellow Chamber (they have strong synergy) in Demon Face market for cheapsies.

I also have Ancient Hero Bandana which gives me quadruple max ammo, so tentacles might carry me entire game now easily.

But I wonder will Stout Bullets decrease the damage for my tentacles on range? If they will I'll probably get rid of them. Also do Stout Bullets and similar "bullet" modifiers have effects on beam type weapons?
