Infuriating notes

Ive got over 500 hours in this game, one past beaten, all but 2 dlc characters unlocked and ive never got an infuriating note in any of my runs

you have to beat bullet hell or at the minimum beat all 4 starting character's pasts before the notes spawn. not sure which requirement actually makes them appear, but I remember topics like this when the dlc dropped and I believe the conclusion everyone came to was beating bullet hell. and in order to even get to bullet hell you have to first beat the starting 4's pasts. I already had beaten bullet hell when the patch dropped and I got them almost immediatly.

can't believe no one said anything before now though

I had not beat bullet hell before i got them, so i think you need the pasts.

I have not even done any pasts and i still have some of the rats notes....

Impossible. Each note drops from a specific tier of chest, plus one from a Mimic.

I'll copy-paste from the wiki what the requirements for notes are:

Each note has an unlock condition that must be met before they can appear:

First note: Beat Gungeon Proper.
Second note: Have an item get stolen by the Resourceful Rat.
Third note: Enter the Oubliette.
Fourth note: Obtain a Master Round.
Fifth note: Kill Fuselier.
Sixth note: Kill the High Dragun.

I got all six of them very quickly, they don't seem to be rare at all.

I have done all of this
First note: Beat Gungeon Proper.

I have beat gungeon proper,had multi items stolen, Entered the sewers,got a master round, killed Fuselier as one of the char's. an killed the dragun multi times, hell I even beat bullet hell an he took multi tries. Yes I have not in a particular order,but only one note
