Robot Run Advice

Right. I am quite good at this game but I could use some advice. I've killed every characters' pasts except for the Robot. I really struggle to find my rhythm with him and usually eat it before I've even gotten to the final floor.

Anyone got any tips for playing as Robot?

Playing well i think what more can i say, go through first secret floor but not the second cuz you will loses lot of hp.
Destroying bad chest can be the way to win too, get junk and jukan makes the run easy (bonus dps from junk + you can hide and wait for him to clean the room).
Or you can just reset rainbow mode and get an easy run, but that is kind of cheating imo.
They're items that can helps a lot like nanomachine or things that give armor every floor

The biggest thing to doing well with The Robot is simply avoiding damage. He has a less forgiving health system than the other characters. As the other poster mentioned, collecting Junk does help since Robot gains +5% damage per piece of Junk he is carrying (this includes Junk-like items such as Lies and Gold Junk). Items that give lots of armor help a lot too, especially Nanomachines and each piece of the Gunknight armor set. Robot also gets better mileage out of AC-15 since he will always have armor. Guns that leave water puddles on the ground are also really strong on Robot because of his Battery Bullets passive. Stuff like Siren or Barrel may be lackluster on the other characters, but they get that extra electrical damage on Robot and it can really add up. Also, don't forget that you can sell health-up items such as Heart Bottle and Heart Holster to Sell Creep for money and it isn't harming Robot in any way. Hold on to heart items with extra effects though, such as Monster Blood, since the immunity to poison is still useful on Robot.

Ooh I didn't know about the 5% damage with junk. I can definitely work with that.
