My previous run was the first time ever that I've found it, and that was about 30-40 hours after I've beaten the past for the first time which is what enables spawn for cosmic rifts.
But at least I managed to beat that run and past and unlocked Paradox so I don't have to worry about that now.
Now I'l have to play for gazilion hours to unlock Bullet because those red caped bastards don't show up at all. It sucks how much the RNG plays a role in whether you can unlock some characters or not.
I know I am.
The first one I came very close to, to take a good look at him and he died seemingly out of nowhere. Then I remembered I have gungeon pepper on me which deals damage to all nearby enemies. Was a huge facepalm lol.
Second one I one shot with sniper by reflex as soon as I entered the room.
But I haven't found any since then.
Then this is terrible achievement design.
The devs should reconsider and rebalance the achievement system then.
Achievements are never good, if dependant only on luck & alot of wasted time in reruns / seed gambling.
I once burned the ♥♥♥♥ out on this game (temporarily) after pushing through Paradox to kill Lich, then going through as Gunslinger and forgetting that you actually need to craft the Bullet and conquer his past. I was so used to just neglecting the Bullet at that point, and you don't need it as Paradox. I was SO PISSED.
I still remember I had eight red hearts, five armor and all the guns I was gonna need for the final showdown that never ended up happening. I put the game down for months, and pondered quitting for good.
