Any tips to get to and beat the lich, im in an awkward situation

SOOOOO.

I have roughly 100 hrs playing this game and so far i've never got to the Lich. I unlocked Paradox and i started a new game, i've just recently killed all the main characters pasts so i just wanted to have a fun run and see how long i would get. The thing is i got super lucky with the RNG and was cleaning most floors with a black hole gun (Won't you come, love that reference) that got nicely buffed by cursed bullets, and all the curse i had from other items.so i got to the lich with a bunch of health and my secret weapon, Bee hive. First phase was jammed (DAMN) BUT i just spammed gilded hydra, i got that star thing active item that makes you invulnerable and i managed to beat first phase easily enough. Second phase was jammed too (♥♥♥♥) but with bee hive and some pro gamer l33t sk1llz (dumb luck) i managed to beat it with only one heart left. Third phase, i have never been this far and im pumped, i managed to empty my bee hive without getting hit a single time, he is about 25% health and im just shooting his ass when i get hit, i stopped for a second and noticed this phase wasn't jammed so i spammed mi last 2 blanks, dodged a little, active item to finish and the Lich is dead...............

problem is im now playing as the gunslinger, i just got to the hollow but i couldnt go to the sewers nor to the second secret floor, didn't get the two first master rounds because i was shaky for just beating the Lich, and got really bad guns (smiley revolver and elephant gun, but even with their synergies y find they're Meh...but maybe im just a n00b). I managed to get the third master round for my first health upgrade of the run because i was lucky enough to get a scrambler (ohboi) that is my only good gun right now. i saved at that floor and got out to take perspective haha.

Any tips for what i have left of round? Hahahaha i will try to just have fun but it would be awesome to have that double lich kill on my first attempt.

I would recommend trying with rainbow run. I finished Lich 2 times in a row with all master rounds and ridiculous amount of health and armour left. While you could get amazing "ordinary" runs rainbow runs can if you have access to most weps and gear be really strong and you can restart untill decent start (never tested though). Imagine if you do all secret floors and get clone in one of those rainbow chests. You can buff up and be insane. GL, but in the end it will always come down somewhat to skill level unless you get some bs duct-tape combo ofc. :P

It took me about 60 hours to beat the Lich for the first time. Here is some advice, although not all of it is useful for Gunslinger.

Get good passives, as well as a good boss gun or two before attempting. I find passives more useful than guns, with a few exceptions.

Try to get as much Health as possible. Do your best to not get hit in previous bosses.

Having a support pet can help keep damage up while you are busy dodging attacks.

Try to save up Blanks for the Lich. If you collect Blanks and have about 5 or 6 for the Boss, it can really help with his worst attacks.

If all else fails, do a Clone Rainbow Run, and fight him with a super OP build... although that is kinda cheap.

Funny thing is i managed to beat the dragun and got pretty op with the gunslinger hahahaha i was pretty confident i was going to beat the gunslinger past... but of course i forgot to bring the DAMN BULLET THAT KILLS THE PAST.... it was fun nonetheless. Im doing a rainbow run right now and it IS easy mode haha thanks alot

Rainbow run is very flexible and if that advice helped someone reading this or you, that is great.
But try to atleast some time beat it normally, the challenge is great. Sure I am not gonna do challenge mode again or (double xD), but some effort is nice to achieve victory.

I mean not only does rainbow runs make it easier, but normal runs have become easier too, so if you really want to feel rewarded I suggest you work on your skill level and try normal runs too.

I love doing a cursed run and struggling and then find turning points. One of those runs I got spice and good curse synergies and beat bullet hell etc without taking dmg with 1 heart and shield it felt great afterward. :D

I was almost all set up to beat the lich and get to the GunSlinger part of the Paradox's run, I had the Loot Bag, the Hero Pig, and everything, but I lost my Hero Pig to the Dragun and then I wasn't even able to get to the Evil "Buncher" in Bullet Hell

Update: I just beat the Lich, and I'm now the GunSlinger. For anyone looking for advise: Hearts and Shields will do the trick.
