The Beholster is too Hard!
I just can't beat him. I couldn't even kill him with my RPG.

Just dodgeroll the eyebeams, and the faster the firerate of a weapon, usually the better. If you can dispatch the homing rockets consistantly, a no-hit run of the Beholster is a pretty big possibility.

There's also a very cheesy strat I've found out, and if you have the Amulet of the Pit Lord (Kill 100 enemies by knocking them into pits), just fire a couple times (depends on your firerate), fall in pit to avoid attack. Rinse, repeat.

...you do realize the RPG isnt even that good of a weapon? this isnt CoD

if you cant beat him even after at least 5 tries, youre gonna have an awful time with the other bosses. so i suggest you just stop right there.

Nice advice. "Just stop"
Anyways op, the RPG destroys bullets, use that to your advantage. Also take out his minions and rockets as soon as possible.

LOLOLOLOLOL. Beholster is so easy. I'm still waiting for the update when they just take Ammoconda out of the game.

As an average player being myself, you learn to realize that the Beholster really is the hardest boss, for he can easily overwhelm you with projectiles. Prioritize killing the missles and minions, and the fight should be wasy. Flash Ray works really well for taking ou the missles, and the sniper rifle is great for the minions.

Just focus the ammo pellets (?) when they spawn, and don't let Ammoconda buff and heal itself with them. Nothing hard if you've got the damage output.

Thank you to all of you who didn't just say "Quit the game if you can't beat him".

Thanks for the advice! I'll be sure to follow everyones advice the next time I fight him!

i'd say the gorgun is easier, but beholster isn't too hard.
Just keep in mind that the Rockets that Beholster shoots can be reflected / destroyed by shooting at them, Also, He's a slow moving enemy, so i recommend you to use a item that leaves a poison pool or something that places fire on a certain area, like a Molotov , he can take a lot of damage for it, And also try to kill his Minions as fast as possible

Gorgun is absolutely the easiest; don't step in poison, dodge over the wave, and safety dance a la Bullet King for the spin. Scream is just knowing to stay "close enough".

Beholster is really just staying a decent distance, prioritizing the adds, and using a rapid fire weapon / beam weapon for the rockets. The adds are really the hardest part as they add a whole new bullet pattern to watch out for, but if you kill them quick, it's no problem.

The RPG is actually the WORST weapon you could have picked up agains the Beholster. Your best bet is a rapid fire weapon, preferably a beam (the Moonscraper works wonders) to destroy his rockets and minions before they become a problem.

RPG is pretty bad, it has jack all for fire rate and only ok DPS vs bosses as a result. Can be used if you have an ammo reloading amp, or things like Hip Holster or easy reload bullets, but on it's own it is trash for bosses.

In general, for the beholster you want high fire rate, or beam, to ensure you can destroy his rockets and minions asap. The rest of his stuff is just a simple dodge roll of the beam, and walking between the bullet waves because they are really spread out.

If you need a break while fighting him, pop your blank and focus down a minion or two, and it will help make the fight a lot easier. Or, just stand so far back from the minions that you have no issues dodging them anyway.

scream is buy blanks if you want a guarrenteed no hit
the bullet spacings and spacings spacing is rng so you might get hitt no matter what
