Debating Getting This Game...

I only have $16.55 that I managed to get by selling loads of my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ CS:GO skins and I am in need of a new game that can keep me entertained/challenged when I have free time. Is it worth getting this game?

I would say yes because this game is very fun and challenging and every time I play it feels different and once you begin you will die a lot but thats fine because eventually you will get better the more you play.Hope I helped

Have you ever played a rogue-like game? If not this is a perfect example however it might be infuriating if you're unfamiliar

I played binding of issac a bit but never really got into it. I assumed this is like it. Main reason for not getting into binding of issac was because of the reliance on just finding good items.

It is not like BoI.

Skill can carry you thru any run, you are not beholden at all to RNG.

It is a lot harder than BoI.

yeah, its hard, but with skill you can get through the whole game with the starting gun.
So go, get it, and don't be afraid of dying.
You'll get better eventually.
Just keep on playing and unlocking new things and you'll beat the game.

its toughe as nails i just beat my first run after 40 hours so if ya like toughe games yes but you may also want to look into these

dead cells
binding of issac rebirth

In my opion these games are better and more balanced i have a big problem with etg because it seems its just so stingy towards giving the player an eaiser time the developer took hardly any pity on the player when desining this game wich is honestly my biggest problem but if you already have those 3 games yes you should absolutly buy this game.

I think EtG is better than Nuclear throne and definatly better then BoIR.
Dead Cells is a fine game, but still in Early access AND is not the same genre, as it is more metroidvania than rogue-like.
Its a good game but as it is a different genre than EtG its not really comparable.

Get Enter the Gungeon, it is worth it.
The other games are more something you can catch in a bundle or in a sale.

I'd say wait for something be on that catches your eye or look around in the store, add it to your wishlist, and wait until it goes on (you can get up to 90% off, but those are rare cases. 70% occurs fairly frequently.)

I would wait for a sale if you are not really into these kind of games. It's very fun but is quite challenging. If you dont like going through the first floor dozens of times to learn the game, you might want to look else where. RNG can also be a real ♥♥♥♥-kicker if it decides to not play nice.
That being said, this game has a ton of personality with a ton of fun stuff to shoot and shoot at. I recommend it, but only if you're up for the things mentioned above.
