Mine Cart Room [NOT the Arcane Powder Room]
There is a room in the early levels that has been driving me bonko because I can't figure out what it's for.
It's a rectangular track that always goes up and down. There are two carts. There is always a hazard below the trap, usually lava or some other liquid, sometimes spikes. No monsters have ever spawned there.

And, again, I cannot stress enough that this isn't the room to get the arcane powder; as near as I can tell, there are no hidden tracks. It seems like the room is just filler.
The wiki has been no help...does anybody know what this room's deal is?

is it the really long vertical one? with the tracks next to eachother?

Well, the tracks for a long loop, but yes, that sounds like the room.

It's just a connector room with 2 carts in a vertical rectangle? That room is just a hazard room. It doesn't do anything. It's just basically to show off they made a minecart system and you can use it to move over stuff. It isn't really for anything else.

I know there's one room like this but its exactly for a secret of sorts but the tracks are invisible so you have to time your jumps because you will only get one chance to do it correctly.
