Is it Normal for the alien space guy to disappear after you kick his helmet

cause that's what happened when i kicked his helmet and he looked at and all that but then i did a run unlocked the gun blessing lady with the 2 knights and then when i died. first of all the shortcut room was blocked off with the wooden beams even though i already unlocked it and the space alien vanished when i went back to main menu the shortcut room went back to normal but the space guy is still nowhere to be seen i don't know if this is normal if not please let me know

He went back in the gungeon to get the helmet you knocked down. You need to free him again.
He’ll do this a few times if you keep kicking his helmet down. Eventually he’ll get sick of it and give you an item while also making it so you can’t kick his helmet down anymore.

thanks you just out of curiosity you got any idea what happened with the shortcut room being locked even though i already unlocked it and then being fixed after i relog, Do you think its just a 1 time glitch and not to happen again or something like that

I used to kick his helmet every time and he'd go down and get it over and over

After a few times he should stop going to fetch it

You do it 4-5 times for an unlock each time you find her. Once she adds a chain to the helmet you have all her items.
