You get close, you fire the engine for 1-2 seconds, then dodge away.

Or, if you have Heavy Boots, the engine no longer knocks you back and you basically become killing machine

It's pretty much a close range only weapon (unless you get Flak Bullets) so be careful.

They usually dies too fast to retaliate.

It works well as an hit and run weapon.

the blow back actually helps you get away anyway in case they survive, so you have enough distance to dodge if you need to again.

It's a fine gun, but you don't use it on everything.
