Hegemony grinding methods? [spoilers?]
I'm at the point where I've killed the Lich and killed everyone's (including secret character's) Past, so I'm just going for achievements and unlockables, like building every shortcut. Most of the unlockables are Breach items I just haven't gotten enough Hegemony to buy yet, and since the final steps of Shortcuts also needs a bunch of Hegemony, I'm finding myself very short on it constantly now.

This isn't even including the costs I'll need to finish a Blessed and Challenge run. I believe you can get at least 10+ for winning a playthrough at least up to the High Dragun, but are there any ways to gather it more quickly? On that topic, does the Lich drop any?

the easiest way to ''farm'' credits is to get far in runs, but thats about it. the only thing that drops H-Credits consistently are bosses and the random H-Credit drops ,that come as a room clear reward, are so rare, i have gotten through hundreds of hours of playing this game without getting one.

sorry, you'll have to earn them the hard way.

I can very consistently at least get into Bullet Hell now. It looks like you get about 15 H-Bucks per successful run if you cut through the Oubliette and the Abbey, but that's easier said than done for sure. If there's a consistent way to get the Cash Briefcase (3 H-Credits) that might speed things up a bit.

Now I'm wondering if doing Cursed runs might be worth it, if Jammed bosses drop a little more.

checked the wiki, curse doesn't affect H-Credits (https://enterthegungeon.gamepedia.com/Curse)

i don't know if you have all NPC's unlocked, but there's a pair called Frifle and the Grey Mauser, which give you 5 H-Credits after a completed Hunt. thing is, these hunts require you to kill specific enemies in the gungeon and it can take alot of time to just complete one (unless you plan to use the elevators for floor specific enemies like the totems). so yeah, killing bosses is still pretty much the only way to get consistent H-Credits.

I found that when I had to gather HC, the fastest way for me was picking the Bullet, going into the Oubliette, ditching the Abbey and always stopping at the Dragun of course.

When I grinded hegemonies, I chose to focus on frifle's quest as a side thing and never picked up the bullet on purpose so the run ends after dragun.

I didn't worry about blessed mode and challenge mode until after I was done with the grind, it didn't take too long. Blessed mode isn't all that hard, albeit destined to give you the derringer/blasphemy on the dragun fight.

credits still drop in challenge mode, so it's not that hard to at least be able to get your 6 credits back if you die. I also hear it ends up turning into a 1 credit cost after failing enough times.
