I found them 3 or 4 times.
thank goodness they dont' count for the every npc in the entrance unlock th ough.
You mean rank? cuz rank doesn't always mean quality. For example, I'd rather have a scrambler over a mass shotgun.

*mutters* it's a stupid name for it though *mutters* =P
And the only reason I found them at all is because I had the Brick of Cash, to make sure I wasnt going to be missing any secrets. Otherwise I would have missed them.
I dont understand why some things like the witches are stupidly rare like that. They end up being things that may as well not exist in the game, because for most players, they're utterly irrelevant. Like rainbow chests, the old man (another secret room only rare NPC) and so on. Heck, according to the wiki, lots of NPCs can appear in secret rooms, but... never really seen any of them there.
Secret rooms in general could be a little more exciting, too.
