The Bullet's past is stupidly hard compared to other pasts
So, I've cleared every character's past but bullet's, even the Gunslinger's one was relatively easy (got it on the second try), the only one I got some trouble with was the pilot's because of how different the movement mechanics are between the normal character and the space thingy, but it's nothing compared to the bullet. In every past (exception made for the gunslinger for obvious reasons), you lose all your items and gain an equipment composed of some stronger versions of your base weapons to kill a final boss that's usually as hard as a 2nd floor boss. The bullet's is the only past where the opposite is true: you gain a significantly weaker version of your base weapon: a blasphemy that can't shoot projectiles and that can't break enemy ones. That's already a bit disappointing considering that when you kill the first boss you have to figure out by yourself how to kill it, since the sword deals initially NO DAMAGE.
And yes, in the end you can figure out what you should do, but the boss itself is based around the sorcerer-like mini bosses from across the floors so the first time around you will probably think that the big projectile is just that, a big projectile. Once you understand how to kill it the trouble starts: the bullet is the only past in which you have to kill 2 different bosses, not one.
The second one is basically a kite-based fight in which you have to deal fast melee damage while trying to dodge the boss' numerous bullets.
So let me be clear: I'm not against hard battles in games, I love caveblazers mainly because everything is hard af there, but I just can't put my finger on how this one past is so incredibly different (and harder) than the other ones, I'm like at the 7th try and I still haven't made it, and it takes about 30 or 40 minutes just to reach the past itself.
What's your experience with that? Do I just have to get good?

You're doing it wrong. Slow and steady wins the race in that past fight. Just keep dodging, and get a 1-3 hits in every time a window opens and then back the fuck up and rinse and repeat. You'll get there, slowly sure, but you'll get there. Trying to rush down the boss only leads to getting trounced.

Plus, it's not like most of the bullets in that fight are that hard to dodge, so it's really just a waiting game.
I don't think the Bullet's past is hard, i think it is even easier than the pilot's past, i've cleared the Bullet's past on my first fun with him.

Cannon CAN be the hardest by FAR if you fight normally, but if you approach from above or below, most of his attacks will miss, and then you can alternate Blasphemy with Live Ammo dodge roll attacks to make his health bar melt off like nothing. Go in on good HP and you can literally out-tank him. I used my two blanks when the bat came out, and ended up taking no damage at all. It's a very forgiving strategy.

Honestly, the two Chain Gunners were the real boss, Agunim and Cannon were just victory laps.
