Is this playable on Mac?

I updated to Catalina and steam gives me a warning that i can't play it.
But i also have Everspace that gives me the same warning but it's still playable.

So before buying it, can someone tell me if EtG is playable, thanks.

On the System Requirements part of the store page, it says

Mac:

MINIMUM:
OS: OS 10.6+
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Storage: 2 GB available space

Catalina is a post-Appocalypse operating system, meaning that only 64 bit apps will work. I believe ETG is 64 bit, but the developers have to tick a box for Steam to label it as “compatible”

I have the new MacBook Air running Catalina and it works just fine. The only issue is that you have to change the resolution to an 8:5 ratio otherwise the intro screens for the bosses will just be black.
