how to earn more money and keys?

Hey guys, Im playing as a hunter and currently trying to unlock the shortcut to floor 2. I seem to never have enough money or keys and in some cases both. Even when selling my boss gun I seem to either come up short on cash or coming up short on keys. Any tips would be appreciated.

Try using the Pilot.
Use his lockpick on chests for a 50% chance to get the items without using a key.

Don't get hit by enemies.
If you get hit, it significantly reduces the drop rate of money.

There's a secret floor between floor 1 and floor 2. Going to this secret floor may provide opportunities to earn more money/keys.
But it requires 2 keys to enter, and has some enemies that may be difficult.

Another tip if you have lots of money, but are low on keys:

Don't pick up any keys on a floor before visiting the shop.
The shop is always guaranteed to sell a key, if you have not picked one up on that floor.
Keys don't get stolen if you leave them on the ground, so you can come back for them later

Are you aware you can basically finish floor 2 then go back to the elevator repair main before going down to floor 3? You should have plenty of money to do that if you get a key drop
