Boss rush strategies/tips?

Can anyone give me any advice/strategy/tips on how to defeat boss rush easily and which character is the best for this task (including the 2 secret ones)? I honestly have tried quite a few times and would like to get it done as soon as possible.

The Bullet works great for Boss Rush if you can keep him at full health.

The Bullet is brilliant as his starting weapon makes flawlessing a lot of the bosses much easier.

I find it best to save your blanks for the whichever boss on each floor you are most confident with to make sure you get the Master Round. I normally reset if I don't get the first 2 Master Rounds, unless I've managed to find a particularly rare/useful weapon.

The Bullet, hands down. Even if you're not at full health, you can always switch to the Blasphemy sword to practically nullify attacks.

Other than that, there's not much to it. With skill and a bit of luck Boss Rush is perfectly doable.
