M9 or Trank Gun ?? How to obtain it ? I see this gun in the ammonomicon (also rubenstein's monster)

It's one of the two last guns I need to find to complete the ammonomicon :/

Rubenstein's monster is a pain to get. You need to get both RUBE-ADYNE Prototype and the RUBE-ADYNE MK.II in a single run.

I got it only once. I got the Mk II on the first floor. Then I did everything to get the prototype (opening class B chest, and giving 2 B guns to the Muncher). I got lucky.

Yeah lol I searched on the wiki for this gun it seems to be hard to get :/ but the other one the m9 do you have any idea ? It is also named the "trank gun" on the wiki :/

Why the hell Steam censored mun.chers? Anyway... M9 I have no idea, since it's from the last update and I haven't unlock everything yet. The wiki doesn't help yet.

Maybe a rainbow mode can be helpful to get the Rubenstein. Reset the game on the first rainbow chest until you get one of the Ruby gun. Then try to get the second one during the gun. I know some people had 2 clones during a rainbow run, so it can be 3 runs in a row with many rainbow chests to open.

I'll try to do that thanks I saw on the wiki that the m9 is an unused gun.. So why I have it in my ammonomicon :/ do you have this gun too ? :/

Hum is it you can get anything except B in a rainbow chest? Or you can not get anything below A in a rainbow chest? Because I got a sling (that is D) in the rainbow mode.

tldr; 9 D, 2 C, 7 B, boatload of A and 14 S rank drops and then couple multi-quality ABC ones on full rainbow mode run.

The "Trank gun" is also one of the weapons im missing, along the teapot, evolver, jk-47 and glass cannon (have been spamming rainbow runs lately)

Are you allowed the shortcut weapons during a rainbow run? I remember seeing someone say they kept resetting the 2nd floor until they got one of the rub-adyne prototype, then hoped for the mk. 2 the rest of the run. If you can I'd imagine this could be a good way of doing it.

The rainbow run chests can drop both RUBE-ADYNE guns. Just restart a rainbow run until you get one of them, then hope for the best. I got the synergy that way yesterday completely by accident.
