Alternative costumes' guns

Do I have to re-do pasts to get em? Since my guys do have regular guns in alt outfits.

Just skins, but alt Blasphemy is weird. Sometimes it can hit enemy on the other side of room.

You don't need to be on Rainbow Mode, confirmed myself.
Also can do it via shortcuts.

Then it's broken for me, I just re-did Bullet's past a hour ago and still he has a regular blasphemy in his Link outfit

Apparently Convict's weapon B skin is bugged. My friend re-did the past with Convict B skin equipped, unlocking the alternate skin. However when he went to play, he didn't even HAVE his starting pistol. All he had was the sawed-off shotgun. Note: He had character A skin equipped while trying to equip this weapon B skin (which worked on other characters for me at least).
