Problem with Trank Gun?

Some of you may know that Trank Gun is currently listed twice in the Ammonomicon (presumably 'cause of 2.1.6/5), except one of them is not obtainable. This creates an issue, as you need to fill in the ammonomicon completely to unlock the Finished Gun, which I've done... apart from that single unobtainable Trank Gun! The devs just fixed an issue where completing the ammonomicon didn't set the flag to unlock the Finished Gun, but it seems like they reverted that fix by making it IMPOSSIBLE to 100% the ammonomicon.
Possibility: I may be babbling for no reason. Tell me if you were able to get the second listing of the Trank Gun after it showed up, or if it unlocked for you without needing it and I may just be missing a single sneaky item.

it may be an oversight dupe. i unlocked the finished gun without obtaining the 2nd trank gun

I don't know, I am fairly certain I've unlocked and collected everything. Sadly this game doesn't tell you how many times you've picked up an item, so I have no way of knowing for sure. At least I know I have everything colored out in the ammonomicon.

I wanna know how you unlocked it in the first case xd. Ive gone through numerous runs and havent been able to find it. Am i missing something or am i just unlucky

To the best of my knowledge, weapon/item entries in the Ammonomicon only get colored in once you've picked up said weapon/item in a run, which is all that is required in terms of gaining 100% completion of it. Are you absolutely sure that every weapon/item is colored in, because some of them are in a visual grey-scale naturally.

Yes, I am 100% sure I have everything collected. I have looked through the ammonomicon 7 times already, weapons and items, and checked the wiki for anything possibly unlisted, and I am not missing anything.

I also got the finished gun but I didn't get the Trank Gun and it's listed twice in my Ammonomicon both grayed out.

I have the fix! Install modthegungeon, and type in command "give trank_gun_dupe_1". It will give you the duplicate trank gun in the ammonomicon!

MTG isn't updated to have the user-friendly gun names though, if anything they'd be IDs. I feel like this reply is a troll.

have picked up tranq gun and it isn't unlocked in my ammonomicon still missing a few items but i think i'm gonna wait for a patch before i play anymore just in case

Uh, yeah, like 6 hours ago. I was there. But I doubt it got updated to include the user-friendly gun names.

Can I ask if you finished the ruby bracelet side quest(bring it to the blacksmith in the forge) which changes the bracelet into its final form?

Idk if it effects ammonomicon completion but it might.

I have, and I'm fairly sure it doesn't. Before posting this, I hadn't gotten all starting weapons alt skins. I have now, but I am still stuck without Finished Gun. I've sent my save to Dodge Roll and I'm just waiting at this point.

Got the same issue. Plenty of stuff to still unlock but I have double Trank guns greyed out.
